Booking & Scheduling:
Q: How do I book a session with you?
A: You can book a session consultation by visiting the "Let’s Connect" page on my website. Fill out the inquiry form, and we’ll chat. I’ll confirm availability and we can discuss the details of your dream photoshoot.
Q: How far in advance should I book my session?
A: I recommend booking your session at least 4-6 weeks in advance, especially during busy seasons like holidays. This allows plenty of time for editing and delivery. Unique instances exist, and we can discuss this during your phone consultation.
Q: Do you require a deposit?
A: Yes, a non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due before your session.
Session Details:
Q: What types of photography do you offer?
A: I like to say there is something for everyone here! I offer different types of photo packages for couples, families, special events, newborn/birth, and branding photography. I also offer boudoir and destination/travel photography packages. If there is something you want that you don’t see offered, let’s work together and create your dream photoshoot!
Q: How long does a typical session last?
A: Session lengths vary, depending on the type of shoot and your needs. I tend to worry less about the length of the shoot, and more on making sure we capture those amazing moments!
Q: Can I bring props or outfit changes?
A: Props and outfit changes can help personalize your session and add variety to your photos. We will discuss these prior to your shoot to ensure we pick the best options to help tell your story!
Location and Travel:
Q: Where will the session take place?
A: Sessions can take place at a location of your choice, such as a beach, park, or your home, or somewhere that is significant to you. I’m also happy to provide location recommendations. Please note, if a permit is required to shoot at the location of your choice, the client is responsible for the cost of the permit.
Q: Do you charge a travel fee?
A: Travel within Nassau County, NY is included. For locations beyond this range, a small travel fee may apply. Please note, client will be responsible for reimbursement of tolls beyond this point.
Editing and Delivery:
Q: How long will it take to receive my photos?
A: You can expect to receive your edited photos within 2-3 weeks after the session. I’ll keep you updated if there are any delays. Please note, delivery time during busy times (ex: holidays) may be longer, however this will be disclosed prior to your photoshoot.
Q: How will I receive my photos?
A: Photos are delivered via a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share your images. In some instances you may choose to have an in-person viewing of your photos and select your favorites. Please note, for shoots where prints or photo books are being ordered in-person selection may be preferred.
Q: Can I request additional edits?
A: Yes, minor retouching is included, but additional edits or requests may incur an extra fee.
Payment and Policies:
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: I accept cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments through platforms like [ex: Zelle].
Q: What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?
A: We understand that life happens, however, cancellations or reschedules must be requested at least 48 hours in advance. The deposit is non-refundable but may be applied to a future session if rescheduled within [14 days of cancellation].
Q: Do you have a cancellation policy?
A: Yes, cancellations less than 48 hours of the session may result in forfeiting the deposit.

Q: Can I share my photos on social media?
A: Absolutely! I’d love for you to share your photos. I only ask that you credit or tag my photography business in your posts.
Q: Will my photos be used in your portfolio?
A: I occasionally use client photos for my portfolio, website, or social media. If you prefer not to have your photos shared, please let me know before the session. I will always respect the wishes of my clients.
Q: What should I wear for my session?
A: Neutral tones, coordinating outfits, and avoiding busy patterns work best for timeless photos. I am always happy to go over options with you to pick the best outfits for your individual photoshoot. Please feel free to ask for a style guide!
Q: I have a vision for my session, is there any way I can share this with you?
A: Yes! It is my job to bring your vision to life, within reason of course :) I would love to see a Pinterest board if you have one that can help me see the vibe you’d like to capture in your photos.
